Early Voting

The early voting period begins on the 15th day before an election and ends on the third day before an election. Calhoun County's early voting sites are located at the Calhoun County Supervisor of Elections Office in the Calhoun County Courthouse at 20859 Central Avenue East, Rm. 117, Blountstown, FL and the Shelton's Park Library 25008 NW SR 73, Altha, FL. Early voting hours may vary and will be advertised before early voting begins. 


Please bring proper identification (photo and signature) for voting at the polling place as required by Florida Statute 101.043.  Failure to provide proper identification you will be entitled to vote a provisional ballot.

Acceptable Identification For Voting

  • Florida driver license
  • Florida ID issued by DHSMV
  • Public assistance ID
  • Neighborhood association ID
  • U.S. Passport
  • Retirement center ID
  • Government employee ID
  • Military ID
  • Debit or credit card
  • Veteran Health ID card issued by US DVA
  • Student ID
  • Concealed weapon permit

(Any combination of these documents may be presented to fulfill the photo and signature requirements.)
